- Fighting Cleanrot Knights at Limgrave Third Church of Marika Site of Grace: Players can also collect Runes by engaging in battles with Cleanrot Knights at this specific location.
How to Activate Runes
Many players are left confused as they attempt to understand how Runes function in Elden Ring. Although these powerful buffs provide vital assistance when facing off against difficult enemies, acquiring and activating them requires more than defeating a boss alone.
Once a player acquires a Great Rune, it must be activated at the Divine Tower associated with its originator – usually near the Lands Between region where it was earned, with some exceptions:
