ANNAPURNA BASE CAMP: A COMPLETE GUIDE:
The Annapurna Base Camp is starts and ends at Pokhara .There is no railway connection with this place and there is Pokhara International Airport. You have tea house and hotels to stay and you can have your food at hotels. The best season for the trekking is during summer and spring season.
The maximum days for the trekking is nine days. It includes sixty to seventy kilometres.
DAY 1 : On the day one you must travel to Pokhara by your own either by taking bus or flight.
DAY 2 : On the day two you should go to Ghandruk and from there your trekking has started .From Ghandruk to Komrong.
DAY 3: the following day you should travel from Komrong to Chhomrong.
DAY 4 : After this the path leads to Chhomrong to Dovan. There you can take rest and refill your water bottles. You can visit the tea houses for relaxation. After your relaxation you can continue your trekking
DAY 5 : Then the trek starts from Dovan to Machapuchare Base Camp. It’s s moderate difficult camp.There will some steeps so be careful while crossing this place.
DAY 6: Trek from Machapuchare Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp.
DAY 7: Your trekking goes on from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo.
DAY 8 : On the day eight ,you should trek from Bamboo to Jhinu.
DAY 9: You can return to Pokhara from where you have started your trekking.
ACCOMMODATION ON THE CAMP:
The accommodation of the camp is not that much facilitated but you will get the experience of the locals. You can stay where you will have your food . And moreover the the accommodation camp along your path is like tea houses,a very short place for camping but definitely you will get a beautiful experience . There is a lot of chance to experience the lives of the locals and food of the locals. The nature and weather will definitely give you a fantastic experience.
The safety condition of the trekking is also very good. You will be accompanied by the guide and well trained person who knows everything about the trekking about that place so there is no worry about the safety purpose of the trekking. The choice of accompany of guide is up to you but still the guide will take care of your safety and the track of your trekking.
