1-Egg quality
The quality of the egg is inversely proportional to the age of the female. The higher the age, the chances of getting good quality eggs are less.
2-Age of the woman
Age plays vital role in a successful IVF procedure. The higher the women’s age her implantation capability becomes lower. The higher the age the live birth chances get lower. Mid of 30’s is the high time when people should go for IVF. Women in their 40’s go for an egg donation programme. In the egg donation programme eggs are taken from younger women. In case of most of the clinics Generally women till 40 years of age are allowed use their own eggs for the process. Any ways the cut of age limit varies from clinic to clinic.
3-Egg retrieval
The big difference between an IVF cycle and a regular menstrual cycle is that ovulation does not take place in an IVF cycle. Instead, the eggs are retrieved at the point of maturation and are fertilized in the IVF lab. Embryos are then transferred to the uterus to initiate pregnancy. Once the embryos are transferred back into the uterus, there is nothing distinguishable between embryos fertilized in the body or in an IVF laboratory.
